Peer Recovery Coaching Services

What is a recovery coach?

A peer recovery coach is someone with lived experience of addiction who knows how hard it is to confront and overcome the problem. We have often been in the same situations you have and have felt the same temptations of giving up or going back out. We ALSO know the opportunities of happiness, success and freedom that come with recovery and hold the insight to help get you there. We refer to SAMHSA’s 8 Dimensions of Wellness to ensure a full spectrum of support in all areas of your life. We bring non-clinical support as often as is wanted/needed and are here to support you wherever you are in your recovery journey.

  • Support

  • Advocacy

  • Connection

We use a strengths-based approach to work with individuals on their recovery goals and help them embrace a life free of substance misuse. Our work revolves around the individual and where they are in their recovery journey. We provide consistent and reliable support that ranges anywhere from exploring different pathways to recovery, harm reduction, relapse prevention, support groups, coping and life skills, time management, budgeting, job and housing resources, advocacy within the judicial system, community engagement, daily pep-talks and learning how to HAVE FUN again while staying clean and sober.

What we offer:

  • Individuals must be 18+ years of age

  • Identify with having a past or present substance misuse disorder

  • Are not currently experiencing acute withdrawal symptoms*

  • Have Medicaid*

*For safety concerns, if one is experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms, we will refer them to a medical detox and/or a higher level of care for immediate treatment. We would love to support once this step is completed!

*We bill Medicaid for services provided and accept all regions and RAEs. We do not accept private insurance at this time. If interested in self pay, please contact us.
